Precious Choices

New Music Alert: This morning, Energy adds "Precious" by Depeche Mode into regular rotation. Not one of the many dance mixes floating around, mind you, but the original version. Yes, that same version that has been a staple on Alice, Live 105, and KFOG since last September. Yes, the song that has already received over 1800 Bay Area spins on the aforementioned stations. I applaud Energy's efforts to play groups like Depeche Mode, but it's almost criminal to choose a song like "Precious" over much stronger "pure dance" candidates out right now - I would suggest "Every Single Day" by Benassi Bros., "Faraway" by Debbie Loeb, and "Kiss the Sky" by Danielle Bollinger, just for starters.
