Energy Sends Out an S.O.S.

New Music Alert: Energy gets smart this week and adds a much needed shot in the arm, in the form of Rihanna's "S.O.S. (Rescue Me)." Rihanna hinted at her dancehall roots with former Energy staple, "Pon de Replay," but her latest is full-on dance, wickedly incorporating the beat from Soft Cell's dance classic, "Tainted Love," as its foundation, and building from there. Finally, a song that Energy beats the competition on (Wild has tested this a bit but hasn't really jumped on it) and that sounds completely fresh on the airwaves.

A second add this week comes from Mary J. Blige, in the form of the Moto Blanco edit of "Be Without You." Mary J. is in fine vocal form, and the song has some good remixes, but this one in particular doesn't do much for me - it comes across sounding rather flat and uninspired on the radio.
