Dancin' at Home

New Music Alert: Two new songs have been added into regular rotation at Energy this week. First up is "House Is Not a Home" by Deborah Cox. New music from Deborah is always welcome, although this is one of her less dancey releases. A great remix could set this one on fire. Perhaps "House Is Not a Home" will grow into its own identity, but after just a few listens, to me the chorus sounds awfully similar to "Things Just Ain't the Same," also by Miss Cox.

The second add this week comes from Aaron Smith featuring Luvli. "Dancin'" has been featured in Energy's mix shows for many, many months now, and the station has finally decided to place it into regular rotation. This is a great song that deserves to be heard, but I was much more enthusiastic about it when I first heard it in the mixshows. It debuted on my personal chart back in May and spent a total of 14 weeks among the elite, peaking all the way at #2. For me, the song is a little played out, but for those who are hearing it for the first time, hopefully the reaction will be as enthusiastic as mine was.
