Energy Welcomes Joey V

Radio and Records reports that with Jeff Miles' departure for Dallas (filling the shift that ironically Fernando Ventura vacated just last month), Energy 92.7 has tapped Joey V as their new afternoon host/Creative Services Director. The move reunites Joey with PD Chris Shebel, who he worked with at the former WDEK & WKIE (Energy 92-7&5) in Chicago. Mr. V was most recently holding down afternoons and Imaging Director duties at KKDL, also in Dallas. KKDL was one of the country's premiere dance radio stations before it flipped to urban late last year.
