Energy Turns Black and Blue

New Music Alert: The latest add for Energy this week comes from Black Rock featuring Debra Andrew, with their song, "Blue Water." In order to make room for Black Rock on their playlist, Energy scraps recent add, "Say Hello" by Deep Dish. Upon first listen, I found the vocals on "Say Hello" slightly annoying, but the production of this song is great and won me over. Energy may come to regret their Deep Dish diss, as the song seems to be catching on relatively quickly at most dance outlets across the country.

New Music Alert: Songs added to Energy's playlist this morning include Freemasons featuring Amanda Wilson, "Love on My Mind" - a decent little tune that sounds better on the radio than it does on my computer. And the latest from Armand van Helden, "Into Your Eyes," which is quite possibly the most repetitive and unoriginal song Energy has added to date.

She Said Energy Takes Control

New Music Alert: New music this week on the Energy airwaves includes Missy Elliott's "Lose Control," Lucas Prata's "And She Said," and the Stonebridge radio mix of "Take Me Away." I find the Stonebridge track in particular to be a great slice of dance music. "Put 'Em High" hit number one on my personal chart back in February, and "Take Me Away" looks as if it may have a good shot at following in its predecessor's footsteps.
